LaserAway, a leader in aesthetic treatments such as Laser Hair Removal, Laser Facials and other skin care procedures. As the Motion Design Editor for LaserAway I was tasked with creating digital ads for their social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube. Rather it be designing elements for motion or taking elements from the design team and applying animation to them, I aided in conveying the desired message to their audience via captivating visuals. Creating illustrations and animating those illustrations was common as well.
Once approved I would reformat the project to conform to other aspect ratios in order to be viewed in the various social media formats.
Digital marketing allows a target audience to be reached online in a variety of ways and on a variety of platforms. It helps spread brand awareness, reach new demographics, increase your revenue, and more.
My role was to utilize both the Principles of Design and Animation together to create appealing and functional designs that make sense to users. These visual and graphic design principles such as contrast, balance, emphasis, proportion, hierarchy, repetition, rhythm, pattern, white space, movement, variety, and unity are a part of my arsenal that I use to create great content.
Rather it be infographics, UX animation, instructional content, kinetic typography, broadcast graphics, titles, GIFs or presentations I apply Motion Graphic Design that helps translate the message to the viewer.
Ask Dr. Kirby - Everything You Need To Know About Fillers (Instructional Video)
For this project I was given raw unedited footage of Dr. Will Kirby talking about filler injections such as Botox and Xeomin. After editing the footage (color correction, excluding bad takes, fixing speech mistakes, speed and pitch adjustments via Premier Pro) I gathered assets that strengthen the dialogue visually and modified such assets to conform to the brand guidelines. Matching title/chapter sequences were then made followed by applying the appropriate motion to it all. Sound effects are then added to supplement the motion.
